Founder of Mastering The Music Business conference, Anca Lupes is one of the most experimented music industry professionals in Romania. Her main strong point is that, during her career, she works in almost all fields of the music industry: mass media (press, radio, TV), concert promotion, record companies, management and booking agencies. In 2009, she becomes the first Romanian graduate of the Master In Music Business courses at Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA).

Starting with 2006 she is the first private organizer and trainer for music business courses and she organizes masterclasses with international artists such as: Steve Vai (2013), Benny Rietveld (2014), Jennifer Batten (2015)

In press she works as a reporter and editor for Vox Pop Rock magazine (1990-1995). She manages exclusive interviews with Boy George, Sidney Youngblood, Jennifer Rush and Technotronic (in 1992), Scorpions and ASIA (in 1993)

In her concert organizer portfolio, there are several main events: Galele Tele 7abc (monthly concerts with local acts, 1995-1997); Gipsy Kings (1996); RockMania ’95 Festival (Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart and Eros Ramazzotti) and Michael Jackson from “HiStory” tour (1996); Hollywood Rock Tour – a 10 concerts tour with some of the most important bands in Romania: Iris, Timpuri Noi, Vita de Vie, Pasarea Colibri (1997), Pro Istoria Fest – the longest touring festival (15 editions intre 2011 si 2015), On Air Music Awards (the only independent awards gala in the Romanian music industry)

As an artist manager and booking agent she worked with: Sistem (2005-2012), Bere Gratis (2004-2005), Parlament (2004-2005), Holograf (1997).

She was the international Business Manager at Nova Music, the exclusive BMG Entertainment licensee in Romania (1997-1999) and then marketing manager (2000-2005).
