ALIN STOICAWorkshop - Building Online Presence
My first job was at HaHaHa Production. I’ve been here for the last three years. I wanted so much to work at Ha, that I was coming every day at the studio, for a week, and stayed there for 6-7 hours just to get in at the job interview. People didn’t have time for me, but that’s how I could observe their working style which seemed run by enthusiasm and very professional.
Long story short: I’m a dedicated onliner, true to the saying “there are no wrong ideas, just bad timing.” I knew I was in the right place doing what I liked the most when I was happy a whole day long after writing a post that got 600 comments.
Creatively speaking, I know myself very well, so I learned how to manage my less inspired periods (I read books or walk in the parc, detaching myself from the daily routine). I have moments when I seem from another planet, but in fact I am only thinking “how about we do this?”
I am self teached, I read info, I analize them and then I act. Still, the basics and main principles of the online I learned in a rigurous, organized manner (I emphasise that) from Ramon Militaru (Google him).
As in any other field, in the online domain, the self esteem comes with the first success story, which can be a post with one thousand comments or a campaign with one hundred thousand subscribers. Projects that I was part of and I’m very fond of are: #1iunie #AreneleRomane, #Smiley10, #SmileyJoc, #Musically, #VoceaRomaniei #EchipaSmiley, #album #EuSuntFeli, #maimusic.
Participating at Mastering the Music Business I guess is the natural step on my way, which I can hardly see going in any another direction.
